Venla Vesala (Das Venn) has been DJing and organizing events since 2019. Her first public performances and entry into the electronic music scene of Helsinki came in 2021, and since then has been performing actively.

Her sonic palette is saturated by an early interest in ambient, IDM and lo-fi-sounds. Now, she brings her more relaxing soundscape out at Marski monthly, while carrying a darker sound in the co-founded concept Collusion Helsinki. Her sound reflects interest in dark ambient, sentimental techno and other sonic delicacies impacted by the 90’s and deep emotion.

Her musical approach is rooted in curating a unique sonic experience for each setting, staying true to the deep, dark undertones and delivering emotional resonance.

Vesala is also a co-founder of Collusion Helsinki, a creative platform she runs with three other members, fostering collaboration across music, fashion, visual art, and installations.
